Debra Odenthal - Safety And Health Specialist

Debra Odenthal joined our special TSA team in April of 2006. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Waynesburg University and a B.S. in Safety and Health Management from Slippery Rock University. Her extensive experience in occupational safety includes inspections, training, accident investigations, and leading seminars.

She has planned, developed, enforced, and overseen safety programs, designed and directed safety audits, and has been responsible for industrial health monitoring programs. Her experience in industrial hygiene includes testing for lead, noise, hexavalent chromium, benzene, etc. She has experience in process safety management in the field of chemical industry and in lockout/tagout, crane safety, machine guarding, confined space, bloodborne pathogens, PIT training and respiratory protection, as well as OSHA Hazmat and Hazwoper training. Her dedication to health and safety is also reflected in her twenty years of experience in emergency nursing.

She has been assigned responsibilities in the TSA Project’s Northeast Region.
